Secretary General of SJF met newly elected President of SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry
The Secretary General of SAARC Journalists Forum held an exchange with the newly elected President of SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

This afternoon at the office of the President of Dhaka Motijheel FBCCI, the newly elected president of SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry Jasim Uddin exchanged greetings with SAARC Journalist Forum Secretary General Md. Abdur Rahman.
General Secretary of SAARC Journalist Forum Bangladesh Chapter Najma Sultana Neela was present at this time.
In the exchange of views, they learned about the International SAARC Journalist Conference held in Delhi last January and Agra in May and discussed the “South Asia Media Summit-2024” to be held in Dhaka next January.
SAARC Chamber President Md. Jasim Uddin told them that they will extend their support to SAARC Journalist Forum, an international organization of journalists.
It is to be noted that on May 25th, the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) is taking the responsibility as the president of SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), the top trade organization of the South Asian Regional Cooperation Organization (SAARC) member countries, for the period of 2023-24President Md.Jasim Uddin.
The SAARC Journalist Forum is not only working on the freedom of journalists but also on establishing friendship between these South Asian countries and extending cooperation to one country and another on economic issues. In this regard, this organization has organized international conferences on contemporary issues at various times among South Asian countries.
