Baby Chakraborty:- New discoveries about ozone layer. IIT Kharagpur researchers claim
A new study by researchers at IIT Kharagpur has revealed a breakthrough in the ozone layer of the Earth’s atmosphere. After a long period of research, scientists have claimed that the ozone layer of the Earth has less leakage than before.
A new study by a team of researchers led by Professor Jayanarayan Kuttipurath of IIT Kharagpur has revealed surprising information about the ozone layer. They claim that the information given about the ozone layer in previous studies may not be entirely accurate.
Previous studies typically observed the atmosphere within 11 km of the surface. But in this new study, scientists have gone up to a height of 15-20 km.
Solar UV radiation and ozone layer conditions have been monitored in detail by satellites. 30 degrees South to 30 degrees North: The condition of the ozone layer has been examined over this wide area.
New research shows that the ozone layer is much healthier than previously thought. That is, the problem of leakage in the ozone layer is much less than before. The research showed that the average ozone value of the ozone layer has decreased slightly, but it is within the safe range. According to the researchers, after this new information, there is no reason to worry about the ozone layer anymore. This is good news for Earth’s ecosystems and people. There is no reason to fear.
This research has shown a new direction towards environmental awareness. In addition, this research has laid a foundation for further understanding of the ozone layer in the future.
Needless to say, this news is a relief for everyone. If the ozone layer is protected, we will be protected from the sun’s harmful UV rays and the Earth’s ecosystem will be healthy.
