But there is a good treatment system for this disease through which the patient can recover completely. World Lymphoma Day is celebrated on September 15 every year to raise awareness about lymphoma cancer. Earlier on Friday, lymphoma patients recovering from treatment at Kolkata’s Tata Medical Center shared their stories of overcoming cancer. Those who are currently suffering from lymphoma and other cancers have given the mantra of survival to people who have won cancer.

World Lymphoma Day was observed on Friday at the Tata Medical Center in New Town, on the outskirts of Kolkata. There, in one event, the cancer survivors presented their cancer recovery stories in front of the doctors so that the patients who are currently undergoing cancer treatment can regain their morale to fight with cancer. The doctors said that even though cancer is a complex disease, it is possible to get rid of advanced lymphoma with modern treatment. Dr Sauriya Ghosh, Clinical Hematology, Tata Medical Centre, said the day is observed to make cancer patients aware of the disease so that they can recover quickly with fearless treatment. Another doctor, Dr. Reena Nair, said that cancer treatment methods have changed a lot. Now more and more people can get rid of this disease quickly So such Cancer Survivor Day is organized to raise morale among other patients. Dr. Devaranjani Chattopadhyay said, Cancer, especially lymphoma, can now be completely cured with proper treatment. So there is no reason to fear or panic Go to the doctor if you are sick.
