Baby Chakraborty: Kolkata:- BJP on the way to protest against RG Kar case. ‘If Lalu Prasad can be arrested, then why not Mamata’? Siliguri MLA Shankar Ghosh raised questions from Hazra’s public meeting. He said, “The main driving force of criminals in this state is the chief minister of the state. One point, one demand, the resignation of the chief minister.”
The state BJP is running a movement keeping this demand in front of the RG Kar case. Geruashibir held a meeting in Hazra with the permission of the High Court. MLA Shankar Ghosh said in the public meeting, ‘The resignation of the Chief Minister, when we took to the streets after the incident of RG Kar, many asked this question, how consistent is the demand for the resignation of the Chief Minister in addition to punishing the criminals of the RG Kar? Today it is available to most of the people in the state. The main driving force behind criminals in this state is the Chief Minister of the state. Unless he resigns, the criminals will not be punished’.
