Baby Chakraborty: Hooghly:- On Wednesday, the Chief Minister of the state returned from North Bengal on the auspicious occasion of Mahalaya and this evening virtually inaugurated several puja committees of Calcutta as well as several puja mandaps of each district and Hooghly district.
The Hon’ble Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee virtually inaugurated the Durga Puja organized by the Universal Durgotsava Committee of Ward No. 10, Karbala Mor Vivekananda Road under Chunchura Assembly. MLA Asit Majumder wished the mother well for all the people on this holy day from being present at this auspicious inauguration ceremony. Hon’ble SDO Sadar Smita Sanyal Shukla, Hon’ble I.P.S Ishani Pal, IC Rameshwar Ojha of Chunchura Police Station, Ward No. 15 Councilor Indrajit Dutta (Bata), Ward No. 10 Councilor Moushumi Majhi (Mampi) and other dignitaries were present. During the inauguration, the entire city of Chunchura was resounding with drumbeats and chants. Along with the dignitaries, many leaders of the puja committee and common people were present here.
