Gopalnagar police station of North 24 Parganas has also carried out special operations to recover prohibited words. On Sunday night raids were conducted at Kadmatla in Santoshpur on tip-off and 15 kg of banned beets were recovered and the seller Vidhubhushan Das was arrested. Police investigation revealed that he was running an illegal wordsmithing business. A few days ago, the police also recovered a number of chattels from the Gaighata police station area.
