
Baby Chakraborty:- At least 10 Maoists have been killed in a security forces operation in the Bandarpadar forest of Sukma district of Chhattisgarh. A large number of firearms, including AK 47 rifles, have been recovered from the dead.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah has set a goal of making India free from Maoists by 2026. The country is moving towards fulfilling that goal. On receiving information from secret sources, the security forces conducted an operation in the Bandarpadar forest of Sukma district on Friday morning. The security forces surrounded the entire area and started a search. The Maoists then started firing at the security forces. Bastar IG P Sundarraj said, “So far, 10 bodies of Maoists have been recovered. A search operation is underway in the entire area. Many firearms including AK-47 and INSAS rifles have been recovered from the Maoists.”
Incidentally, Union Home Minister Amit Shah recently said, “I believe the fight is in its final stage. The time for the final attack has come. We will eradicate Maoism from the country by March 2026.” According to the latest statistics, a report says, “Since January this year, 257 Maoists have been killed. Along with this, 861 have been arrested and 789 have surrendered.”
