Baby Chakraborty: Alipurduar :- On November 13th by-election of Madarihat assembly constituency of Alipurduar district. Trinamool Congress stormed the campaign in the last lagna. Yusuf Pathan, a former member of the Indian cricket team and Member of Parliament from Baharampur, campaigned in support of Trinamool Congress candidate Joy Prakash Toppo from Madarihat Assembly Constituency in Rabi Basari campaign. On this day, he first addressed a road meeting in Binnaguri area. After that he moved to Goerkata. Dhupguri MLA Nirmal Chandra Roy welcomed the MP there. After that, he marched with the workers’ supporters in Goerkata. Then speaking, he said,
The people of Madarihat assembly constituency are very good. Jayprakash Toppo is doing good work in this constituency. He always works from among the people. Therefore, I strongly believe that the people of this constituency will win the Trinamool Congress in this election.”
