Baby Chakraborty :- One after another, serious allegations have come up in the investigation of the central investigating agency CBI, which came to investigate the incident of Rjikar Medical College Hospital. For example, everything from CCTV footage to forensics has come into their hands.
The special bench of the Chief Justice asked the CBI to submit the status again on Tuesday, September 17. Even in the hearing of this case, questions have been raised about the post-mortem process by the CBI. Post-mortem was conducted after a certain period of time for quick cremation. In today’s hearing, the CBI has mentioned several mysteries. It has also been reported that the post-mortem was conducted in the presence of a magistrate but the timing of the post-mortem has been questioned by the CBI. On the other hand, the CBI accepted that there were injury marks on Tilottama’s body.
The CBI lawyer mentioned a challan with the autopsy. The state lawyer could not provide this information when the Chief Justice asked for it. Then the Chief Justice wanted to know the question of how the autopsy was done without all these documents.
By the time the CBI took over the investigation five days after the incident, many things had changed. Also, when the question and answer was going on about the CCTV footage, the state lawyer said that all the footage has been given in four parts. But speaking on the matter, state counsel Kapil Sibal mentioned a technical glitz. However, he did not clarify what the error was. However, CBI’s apprehensions were correct as the complete footage was not provided.
