Baby Chakraborty, Kolkata:- Junior doctors in Nabanna campaign with 30 representatives today. They made it clear that they will go to meet Mamata Banerjee in Nabanna with 30 representatives. The agitating doctors told the chief secretary by email.
Before the Navanna campaign, the agitating doctors faced the journalists. There they said that the Chief Secretary informed them in his mail about the meeting with them at Navanna at 5 pm. Incidentally, the chief secretary wrote a letter to the protestors on Thursday afternoon. There, he said, the state will hold a meeting with them at Navanna at 5 pm. The chief minister himself will be there. 15 representatives of junior doctors are expected to be present there. The chief secretary also said that it can be recorded to maintain transparency in the matter. However, the doctors are taking only 30 representatives there due to their insistence.
Besides, the agitating junior doctors said that a meeting with a delegation of less than 30 people is not possible. He also said that he wants to meet the Chief Minister. They are reported to have reached Nabanna by 4.45 pm. Having prepared a bus with these 30 representatives to sit face to face with the state administration, the agitating doctors are going to Nabanna. They also demanded live streaming of the entire episode.
They claim that if the hearing of the Supreme Court can be live, then this discussion can be streamed live. The agitating doctors also said that they will tell Navanna about that demand. They want to discuss the 5-point demand. In this regard, they emailed the chief secretary and told them.
