Baby Chakraborty, Kolkata :- One person was injured in an explosion in a populated area of ​​central Kolkata on Saturday afternoon. At around two in the afternoon on this day, the local Taltala police station received a report that the intersection of Blochman St. and SN Banerjee Road was shaken by a sudden explosion. In this incident, a 58-year-old man named Bapi Das was taken to NRS Medical College Hospital in Kolkata.

The OC of Taltala Police Station reached the spot after receiving the information and found that the injured person was taken to NRS Hospital. His right wrist was injured. There was a plastic bag at the entrance on Brochman St. The area was cordoned off with security tape after the incident. And when the bomb disposal squad was informed, they reached and searched the bag and the area around it, after giving a clearance, the traffic was allowed.

The 58-year-old Jakham Bapi Das, whose home is in Ichhapur, was recently living on the footpath of SM Banerjee Road. It was informed by NRS hospital that his treatment is going on and some more time should be given.
