Baby Chakraborty :- Officials of investigating agency CBI have claimed that Partha Chattopadhyay sent the list of names of candidates to a bureaucrat after going through the documents found at Bikash Bhavan. Some of those in the list got jobs. In other words, the sensational information that the incompetents were initially employed on the recommendation of Partha Chatterjee has come to know.
ED arrested the then Education Minister Partha Chatterjee in 2022 on charges of teacher recruitment corruption. After that CBI also arrested him in the SSC recruitment corruption case. The state politics was in turmoil with this. After extensive search, many documents were recovered from Bikash Bhavan. 753 candidate lists were found in the recovered documents. Looking at this list, the CBI claimed that 310 people got jobs in TET 2014. Partha Chatterjee is reported to have sent this list of names of ineligible candidates to a bureaucrat.
Earlier this month, former education minister and Trinamool Congress leader Partha Chatterjee was produced in a special CBI court. At that time, an application was made by the CBI to take custody of Partha Chatterjee and other accused Ayan Sheel in the recruitment corruption case. Partha Chatterjee was arrested by the CBI as soon as the court’s permission was obtained. The former Education Minister is currently in the Presidency Jail.
According to the CBI sources, the names of several influential people have also come up in the investigation. If necessary, they will also be questioned by the Central Investigation Agency (CBI).
