Baby Chakraborty:- Sukanya Mondal, daughter of Anubrata Mondal of Birbhum got bail on Tuesday. The Delhi High Court granted him conditional bail today, Tuesday, in the financial embezzlement case. Sukanya got bail in the case filed by ED. Anubrata Mandal is now in jail in the same case. However, Kest has already got bail in a CBI case. Anubrata-daughter Sukanya was arrested by ED in April 2023. He was arrested in Delhi after a long interrogation. Sukanya’s father Anubrata Mondal was arrested in the same case exactly eight and a half months ago.
Sukanya applied for bail several times after her arrest. But it did not match. After 15 months of arrest, Delhi High Court finally accepted Sukanya Mandal’s bail plea. According to sources, Anuvrata Mandal’s daughter may be released from jail on Wednesday. Like his father, he is also imprisoned in Tihar Jail. Again after the arrest of Anubrata Mandal in August 2022, CBI called Sukanya to Delhi for questioning. Investigating officers claim that Anubrata’s daughter has information about huge assets. And Sukanya told the CBI that only her father and accountant Manish Kothari can answer all the questions about the property. Anubrata and Sukanya were then interrogated face to face.
