The corona variant and the medicine that Nepal is using is similar to the India.AS we already aware of the fungus breakout in India and most of the states in India have already declared the fungus as epidemic. Many cases in different states of India have already surfaced the news. Nepal is also at the high risk of fungus breakout.
Fungus will not affect if they were treated at the early states but delay in treatment will turnout in dangerous result as the fungus will damage your vital organs like kidney,eyes,nose,ear etc. It is not contagious but can cause a lot of damage internally and can be fatal if not detected early. As per the latest news a man in India who was diagnosed with the black fungus lost his eye sight. Most of the people who were given steroids for the treatment of covid-19 are suffering from black fungus.
People with the low immunity are also at the high risk of suffering from this disease.4 white fungus cases has been reported In Bihar, India which is said to be more dangerous the black fungus as it may damage brain along with others organs of the body.
As per the latest report report,5 new cases of black fungus have already reported at the Narayani Central Hospital,Birgunj.Fungus breakout is soon going to affect the most part of the country.so,It is very important for the Nepal government to
get prepared to tackle this epidemic without making any further delay they should be ready and prepared to face this disease. Only the positive thing about fungus is that is not contagious like covid-19 and cannot be spread from one person to another. Early preparation will help to save the life of people as it is sure that fugus breakout is going to affect Nepal soon.
As per the recommendation from the medical personell,People who have just recovered from covid-19 and taken the steroids to win the battle with covid-19 should be more concerned about this and should not ignore any such symptoms. Early treatment will save you from losing your life.so don’t ignore any symptoms if you have just recovered from Covid-19.
Preventive measures:
As the cases of black fungus or mucormycosis are rising in Delhi, medical experts have now said that “unhygienic or re-using unwashed masks” and “poorly ventilated rooms” could be a factor behind the increasing number of infections.
Doctors and health experts from several leading hospitals have revealed that a lot of patients who have been infected by mucormycosis had records of showing poor hygienic practices, including wearing unwashed masks for a long time.
However, on the other side of the coin, there are many experts who said that there is “no clinical evidence” to make such claims. A senior consultant at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, Dr Suresh Singh Naruka said that the primary cause is “irrational use of steroids”.
