Congress gave a big responsibility to Adhir Chowdhury, former president of West Bengal Pradesh Congress

Baby Chakraborty: Kolkata:- Names of observers for the bypolls for the bypolls were released by Congress leadership from AICC on Tuesday. Former West Bengal Pradesh Congress president Adhir Chowdhury got a place in the list of observers, the other two AICC observers are Tariq Anwar and Bhatti Vikramakka Mallu.

AICC also got good results by sending former Union Minister Deepa Dashmunsi to observe polls in Himachal Pradesh, Tripura and Telangana. And this time AICC wants to test Adhir’s leadership by sending him to a different state.

Adhir was defeated in the Lok Sabha elections from Baharampur. Adhir has also been removed from the post of state Congress president. Now he is only a member of the All India Congress Working Committee. This time in the previous Lok Sabha, the Congress party leader was given the big responsibility of Jharkhand polls. Congress is fighting the polls in alliance with Jharkhand Mukti Morcha. In this case, the AICC’s aim is to fight against the BJP by following the coalition. Therefore, a section of the Congress feels that leaders like Tariq-Adhir have been given the responsibility of Jharkhand assembly elections.

Incidentally, the BJP has also activated the leaders of Bengal long ago to recapture Jharkhand. While central minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has been given the primary responsibility, the BJP is also using Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma and West Bengal Opposition leader Subvendu Adhikari.
