Baby Chakraborty: Kolkata:- ED opposes bail of Jyotipriya Mallick again in ration corruption case. ED has submitted a report to the court objecting to the bail of former state minister Jyotipriya Mallick, who was arrested in the ration corruption case. The hearing of the bail case of Jyotipriya Mallick was held on Thursday.
This special report was submitted by ED to the court. The hearing of the ration corruption case is scheduled for November 20. According to sources, the former minister is physically unwell. He is undergoing treatment in a private hospital.
According to sources, Jyotipriya is suffering from multiple physical ailments. In addition, the ED has also raised questions in the court about Balur’s admission to the hospital. As an investigating agency, they should have been informed. But they complained to the court that they were not informed while submitting the report of the bail case.
