
Baby Chakraborty, Thursday:- A high-level meeting was held on Thursday to strengthen the security measures in various hospitals of West Medinipur. This meeting was held on the security issues of all sub-division hospitals and super specialty hospitals of the district including Medinipur Medical College.
District Superintendent of Police, District Chief Health Officer, Principal, Superintendent of Medinipur Medical College and Superintendents of other hospitals of the district were present in this meeting led by District Magistrate Khurshid Ali Quadri. A detailed discussion was held in this meeting about strengthening the security system in all the hospitals of the district in compliance with the orders of the court.
In particular, how many CCTV cameras will be required in various hospitals including Medinipur Medical College, what kind of security arrangements will be made for toilets and women doctors’ rest rooms, have also been discussed in detail. A detailed report will be sent to the health building soon.
